*Arnis Sticks (escrima/hanbo) * Jo (short staff) 2nd 8 oz Gi—At Orange it is recommended that s tudent begin attending at least 3 classes of not already. A second Gi reduces the need to do extra laundry

*Tonfa—Traditional Okinawan weapon which looks like a western police baton—Sensei recommends the “Okinawan Tonfa” over the generic one because of the balance and handling Stunt Bo—At green belt students have the opportunity to apply to the STORM team each member learns bo techniques which require a light and easy to use bo—Don’t forget a bo case to protect your investment

Blue Belt |
*Hardwood Bo—a stronger and heavy traditional bo required for both kata at this rank *Bo Case—don’t carry your bo unprotected. Heavy Weight Gi—you’re a serious advanced student now. You need a serious Gi—10oz or 12 oz. gives a crisp Karate look to your techniques.

Purple Belt |
*Sai—Traditional Okinawan Steel weapon –used to disarm the samurai. Sensei Recommends staying away from black. Measure from the tip or your fingers to your elbow and add an inch (two inches if you're still growing.) select the sai length closest to the measurement.
*Sai Case—Being steel, sai can be damaged by environmental exposure.
Jujitsu grappling gi—This heavy duty gi is designed to take the punishment in grappling play.

* Make certain that you have all of the aforementioned equipment by this point. You are required to have all of your own gear for black belt exam. Shinai—bamboo sword for kendo play—don’t forget your case
