Accompanying Sensei at this event were Sensei Martina Benedikovicova, Sensei Marisa McLaughlin, Sempai Kayla McLaughlin, and STORM member Matthew Garberina. Topics in this event ranged from bunkai of Isshin Ryu Kata, to new knife and sword kata, take downs and throws, weapon defense and sparring drills. This was the 4th installation of the recent series started by the AOKA southeastern division which is represented by schools from the Carolinas to Alabama. The next installation is tentatively planned to return to the Charlotte area either at Apex or one of its sister schools.
